Poonhill Tadapani Ghandruk Trek rewards all exciting mountainous views and villages with charm, and Gurungs, Poons, and Magars inhabit these villages. Soulful lullaby of birds and sub-tropical setting of villages are all set in the foothills of the stunning peak of Macchapucchre (Fishtail). As you fly over the skyline of the Himalayas, the world’s highest mountains welcome you with arms wide open. Tripura Travelcations welcomes you at the airport and will drive you to a pre-booked hotel. It is natural for you to go through the cultural shock you encounter upon landing in TIA. But no worries, we are here to make you and your journey more comfortable. You can roam around the hotel late evening, and then we meet again for a pre-dinner tour briefing.
On the second day of this well-made Poonhill Tadapani Ghandruk Trek, you sightsee different man-did wonders with deep spiritual and religious beliefs. We visit to observe mastery of work, all seen beautifully, in crafts on woods, stones, and metal. Kathmandu is alluring, artistic, and cultural. Carrying 12th-century old rich history, new Kathmandu shares tight spaces with these magnificent structures. We will go sightseeing in Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath, and spend the evening in Bhaktapur Durbar Square and then We will again return to the hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
We start the day with early morning breakfast and take a bus to Pokhara. The bus time is 07:00 AM(Nepal). We reach Pokhara after a drive of 06 hours. We will receive you at Pokhara International Airport and drive you to the hotel, a 20-25 minutes drive into broader words and colourful streets on the shores of the fantastic lake, Fewa. In addition, you can cycle around in the evening—overnight in the star category hotel in Pokhara(Customizable).
We wake up early at 06:30 and start breakfast at 07:00. We then begin to drive to Nayapul from Pokhara @ 08:30 am. This drive is 1.30 hours by car/taxi or other SUVs, depending on the total number of guests. We commence the trek from Nayapul, reach Modikhola(1.5 hrs), and then cross the river in Birethanti.
We continue to Modi Khola valley, passing Sauly Bazaar. This part of the trek is from 1.30 hours to 02 hours. From Sauly Bazaar, stone steps start. We stop for lunch at around 12:00 – 13:00. Upon having lunch, we trek to continue to reach the fantastic village of Ghandruk. This is a 05-06 hours hike making a total day hike of 08-09 hours. Ghandruk is a beautiful village with a picturesque view of mountains and the colourful culture of Gurungs.
Wake up at 06:30 AM, 07:AM Breakfast, visit Gurung Museum and monastery and indulge in the masterful creation of mother nature. We continue late to trek soaking natural purity to reach Tadapani. The trail is mesmerizing as you will be passing through the rhododendron forest and getting to the place called Bhaisi Kharka for lunch. We continue the hike for 1.3 hours through dense forest. Tadapani welcomes you in its fantastic setting. Therefore, Tadapani is well known for its stunning sunrise and sunset view over Macchapuchhre mountain. Overnight in Tadapani.
We wake up early at 06:30, will have breakfast at 07:00, and will start to trek at around 08. The initial phase of the tour is downhill for half an hour and a 01-hour climb to Banthati. From Banthati, we continue to get to the gorge of Deurali to have our day’s lunch. After lunch, we trek downhill to Ghorepani for a few minutes uphill through lush green forests of oak and rhododendron. Thus, overnight in Ghorepani.
We wake up at 04:30 AM and start a 01-hour hike to reach Poonhil to indulge in a stunning natural setting with the world’s highest mountains in the background in Annapurna and blooming rhododendron in the hills. Poonhill rewards some magnificent views of the mountains Macchapucchre, Dhaulagiri range, and Manaslu range. As we soak in the most amazing golden sunrise over snowy mountains, we return to the lodge in Ghorepani for our breakfast.
Then, we start our trek to Nangethanti, which means an open hut. We will reach Ulleri, have lunch and then again trek steep downhill for 1.30 hours, to reach Tikhedhunga, on the bank side of Burundi Khola. Finally, we gather for dinner at 06 hours to cherish the moment as the last day of our mountain stay.
We wake up at 07 am, have breakfast at 07:30 am, and start trekking from 08:30 am to reach Nayapul via Hille, Sudame, Ramghari and Birethanti. This hike to Nayapul is 3.30 hours. Our vehicle welcomes you in Nayapul and then will drive to Pokhara for an overnight stay. In the extra time, we will do Pokhara sightseeing of Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and return to the lakeside for an evening silent and soothing Fewa Lake boating experience. Finally, Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 09- Pokhara to Kathmandu on bus/25 Mins Flight
We wake up at 06, drive to Dam side, and drop you at Tourist Bus Park to travel back to Kathmandu by bus. This is 06 hours drive, and the total distance is 200 km. Therefore, You can fly back to Kathmandu on the evening flight to soak more of Pokhara.
We host a farewell dinner to celebrate mountains and the stories we created. And there is a promise to keep, that we shall meet again.
