Rara Lake Tour by Plane

Rara Lake Tour Package detail Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu – Nepalgunj – Talcha by Flight

Today you will fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj and from Nepalgunj to Talcha. You will leave for the airport in the morning after having a quick breakfast at home. You take a scheduled first flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj. In Nepalgunj, one of our representatives will meet you and transfers you to the small plane which flies for Talcha. 

Once you arrive at Talcha airport, our guide will receive you. After having long flights from Kathmandu to Talcha finally time to have lunch. The restaurant will serve you delicious Marsi Chamal Dalbhat. After completing your first delightful lunch at Karnali Province, it’s time to start walking. It will take 2 hours to reach Rara lake by walking from Talcha. Thus, you will spend the day sightseeing around Rara Lake; on the other hand, and you will spend the evening with a campfire and dancing. Hence, your accommodation will be a tent for the night.

Day 2: Hike to Murma Top 

Today we will wake early in the morning and prepare for the Murma top hike. After breakfast, we will start our trek with your guide. The walk is very gentle and moderate, and it will take 3.5hr to reach Murma Top. You will witness the best view of Rara Lake and also its surroundings from Murmatop. You can see snow-capped mountains and a lush green forest on the other side of the lake. After the breathtaking view of Rara lakes and surrounding hills, we will start walking downhill up to Rara lake for lunch. Your lunch will be Dalbhat. After having Dalbhat you can enjoy your time doing boating. You can also spend your day walking around the lakes. 

Finally, your accommodation will be at the Tent like yesterday, and dinner will be served per the itinerary. 

Day 3 : Rara Lake to Nepalgunj

Today we will finally fly back to Nepalgunj by flight and take an evening flight to Kathmandu, where your tour ends. After having a tea at Rara lake, you will start your journey back to Talcha airport. Accordingly, you will have your lunch here at Talcha before getting on the plane. Your guide will handover you over to the airline’s company personnel and put you on the plane. After arriving at Nepalgunj airport, our representative will meet you and transfers you immediately to the next plane for Kathmandu. Therefore, you will arrive in Kathmandu after 45 minutes. Luckily, you can enjoy the beautiful mountain range such as Dhaulagiri range, Annapurna range, Langtang range, and many more.
