The area near Langtang Valley is beautiful. Already the bus tour to the ascent site is a real adventure. Also the villages are exciting to explore and through the open and warm nature of Suranjan we got in contact with the villagers. The cultural exchange and being allowed to participate in their rituals is an experience that I associate with this wonderful trekking. I had the opportunity to get a small insight into the everyday life of the villagers of the different places. This in addition to the beautiful panorama and the explanations of Suranjan about the lived cultures, has made this trekking an incredibly beautiful experience for me that I would recommend to any person. The walk is fantastic, and it is both interesting and lovely. Take it slowly because there are many steps to climb. Recommend getting up early and hiking the main trek to Ghandruk (which is what most trekkers would be doing after they come back from Poon Hill and finish breakfast). Overall Trek was nice. Gokyo lake trek is located in the Everest region. I was checking who is the best trekking provider in Kathmandu and got to know about Tripura Travelcations by friends. The people in Tripura are very friendly. They provide me the best guide they could offer. My overall Gokyo lake trek was fantastic.
